Tyson Foods, one of the largest pork companies in the US, uses gestation crates for its breeding sows.  The sows are kept in cages too small to allow them any form of movement whatsoever.  Their life is composed of back to back artificially inseminated pregnancies, all of which take place in these crates.  Please call Tyson foods at 1-800-643-3410 and urge them to stop using this inhumane practice.  It will take you no more than a minute (probably less), and with enough support can help make the lives of millions of pigs just a little better.  I'm not going to put a picture of a suffering pig on here, because I don't agree with that type of tactics.  However, if you would like to be informed, a quick search for "gestation crates" will give you a glimpse into the reality of the meat industry.
